My name is Anna and I have always had a passion for wildlife, for as long as I remember. I grew up mesmerized by the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irvin and his adventures and I promised to myself, back then at a very young age, that I too will be a part of wildlife conservation and education. I have a bit of a different area of focus, more a feathered focus, birds.

I was born and spent my early years in Australia, where exciting, exotic wildlife is with you almost on a daily basis. Where I lived to see a wild parrot is a normal occurrence everyday and I have been always been fascinated by their quirky and playful behavior.

As life continued I left Australia and studied dance in Europe, then I ended up working in Fashion, which led to a lot more travel, finally landing in New York. This travel brought me face to face with how many cultures view and treat the wildlife around them.

Surprisingly it is here in NYC that I have been able to take my passion for wildlife , especially birds to the next level. I still work in Fashion but when Im not, I am working hands on with my feathered modern dinosaurs at the Wild Bird Fund.

This website and this instagram chronicle my journey and adventures (sometimes embarrassing and sometimes scary) to help, protect and conserve the wildlife surrounding us. Take a look and you may surprised how big of a difference YOU can make by just being aware, of whats flying around us.

Thank You

Anna
